Cookie Policy
This policy explains the website technologies that may store or read information on a visitor's device, including the active LiveChat service.
1. Essential technologies
Essential cookies or similar storage may support security, request routing, load balancing, fraud prevention, accessibility, and preferences necessary to deliver the website.
2. LiveChat functionality
LiveChat is active across the website to provide real-time chat and offline messaging. Its current documentation identifies lc_cid and lc_cst as primary functionality cookies used to identify a chat session, secure access to the conversation, reconnect visitors with agents, and remember conversation continuity. LiveChat states that these cookies may remain for up to two years; provider behavior and retention can change.
3. Chat service data
When the widget loads or is used, LiveChat may process session identifiers, browser and device information, IP and network data, page activity, chat events, and information entered in the conversation. LiveChat's own privacy and cookie notices govern its processing as a third-party service provider.
4. Analytics
Google Tag Manager is installed to manage measurement tags. If a visitor selects Allow analytics, Google Analytics 4 may measure page views, page titles and URLs, device and browser characteristics, approximate location, referral or campaign information, scrolling, outbound-link activity, and configured conversion actions such as submitting a commercial consultation request. PhotoStat Technologies uses this information to understand website use and evaluate approved marketing activity. Visitors who select Essential only do not grant analytics storage. LiveChat may separately provide operational information about widget use and page activity as part of the chat service.
5. Advertising and attribution
Advertising storage, remarketing, advertising personalization, ad-user-data consent, and optional advertising-cookie use are currently disabled through the site's consent configuration. The website may record a consented Google Analytics conversion event when a commercial consultation request is submitted; that analytics event does not by itself activate remarketing. Phone selections and business-chat starts may be measured separately as secondary interactions. This notice and the available choices will be updated before optional advertising storage or personalization is enabled.
6. Your choices
The cookie notice offers Essential only and Allow analytics. A saved choice is stored in the browser's local storage so it can be respected on later visits. Use Cookie choices in the website's policy links to reopen the notice and revise the selection. Browser controls can also block or delete cookies and local storage, although blocking LiveChat functionality may prevent chat history, reconnection, or the widget from working correctly. Visitors who do not want to use LiveChat can contact admin@photostattechnologies.com by email.
7. Current configuration
The website currently uses hosting and security technologies, the LiveChat functionality integration, Google Tag Manager, and consent-gated Google Analytics measurement. Analytics storage is denied by default until Allow analytics is selected. Advertising storage, remarketing, and advertising personalization remain disabled.
